Food Distribution

Niagara Community Action Program, Inc., operates the Niagara County Food Distribution Center located at 2201 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, in partnership with Niagara County and the Food Bank of Western New York. You can visit their website by clicking here:  Twice monthly, fresh, frozen and non-perishable food is received, inventoried, sorted and distributed to the 45 food providers including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and snack programs located throughout Niagara County.

The food comes from grants such as TEFAP (Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program), HPNAP (Hunger Prevention Nutrition Assistance Program) and donations collected in Niagara County and shared with the food providers.  The food providers then distribute the food to qualified families in their communities.

Donations to the distribution center are gratefully appreciated.
